The expansion of the administrative building at Augsburg Waste Management is taking shape, and the interior is currently being finished with clay plaster. For this building, GIMA’s unfired clay bricks were used for both non-load-bearing interior walls and load-bearing interior and exterior walls. For the ceiling connection, a brick U-shaped shell and two mortar leveling layers were used. For reasons of damage prevention, the floor base layers should generally be constructed using moisture-resistant building materials. As with the project in Augsburg, the use of fired vertically perforated bricks is recommended.
